This not-for-profit organization is dedicated to assisting victims of physical, mental and sexual abuse. Their role is to provide a safe place for someone in need to make decisions to help regain control of their life. Bridges provides a 24 hour crisis hotline staffed by people who can help immediately, an outreach support group, and a shelter at an undisclosed/unnamed/unidentified location. The services they provide are supported by local law enforcement officials, Government Grants, Corporations, United Way, Foundations and individual contributions. (Note: All services are provided with the utmost attention to confidentiality at no charge)
How we help: There is a line item in our budget each year to support Bridges. They are the recipients for our portion of the yearly Peace Offering. We take up collections of items that are needed throughout the year.
